The one who stays.

MyLuca is an app that helps your family look after its health together: medicines on time, the small daily things, and the people who look out for you, even from another city.

One family, one ordinary day.

Each person looks after their own health. Family and close friends look out for one another.

The app screens shown are early designs and will change before the beta.

  1. 07:30amEvery day

    Reminders that remember.

Morning tablets, a vitamin every four weeks, the dog's tick tablet every 40 days. Set it once; MyLuca keeps count.

The MyLuca Today screen: Calcium 500 mg at 07:30 am marked as taken, Vitamin B12 at 01:30 pm with a Mark as taken button, and coming up, Vitamin D3 every 4 weeks and Bruno's tick tablet every 40 days.
  2. 11:00amAfter the doctor

    From prescription to routine.

Take a photo of the new prescription. MyLuca reads the medicine names and dates, so the new routine is set in a minute. Always check what it has read.

The Check what MyLuca read screen after photographing a prescription: Vitamin B12, 1 tablet, after lunch daily, for 30 days, with a reminder to check each line against the paper and a Set reminders button.
  3. 06:00pmFrom the phone and watch

    How the day went.

Steps, sleep and the health data already on your phone and watch, in one place. You see your own day, and you choose who else does.

  4. 09:00pmChennai, or New Jersey

    Family who knows.

You choose what your children, parents or a close friend can see. If a critical dose is missed, the person you chose is told.

MyLuca is not an emergency service. In an emergency call 108 (India) or 911 (US).

The Family screen seen from abroad: Amma's evening and morning tablets taken, a new prescription shared after her doctor visit, and Appa's 08:30 pm tablet not marked yet, with a Call Appa button.

From the doctor’s visit to a family that knows.

  1. Bring your family in.

Each person joins on their own phone, or a parent's profile is looked after by a child, with the parent's say-so.

  2. Snap the prescription.

After a visit, take a photo. MyLuca reads the medicine names and dates. Always check what it has read.

  3. Set the reminders.

Daily, weekly or every 40 days. Phone and watch.

  4. Share what matters.

Item by item, person by person. Change your mind any time.

When you can't be there, you can still know.

For children abroad

Appa's report from Nagercoil reaches you in New Jersey the same day. You see that Amma's evening tablets are done, without a call at 3 a.m. your time.

For parents of students abroad

Your daughter chooses what to share: slept well, ate well today, took her medicine when she was ill. You see a calm summary, not a log of every meal. She stays in charge.

Your family decides who sees what.

You decide.
Nothing is shared until you share it. You can stop sharing with anyone at any time.
Not a doctor.
MyLuca reminds and lets you share; it never diagnoses or gives medical advice. Always talk to your doctor.

Built in Nagercoil, for families everywhere.

The problem

MyLuca is being built in Nagercoil, Tamil Nadu, by a family that knows the routine: reports on WhatsApp, a plastic folder at home and a phone call after every doctor visit. When a family lives in two cities or two countries, the person looking after a parent is often the one furthest away. We wanted something calmer.

What is new

Most health apps are built for one person. MyLuca is built around a family and its close friends.

  • Family and close friends who look out for one another, with sharing chosen item by item and person by person.
  • Printed Indian prescriptions read straight into a medicine routine.
  • Reminders for long and uneven intervals, not only daily doses.
  • A chosen family member told when a critical dose is missed.
  • Health data from the phone and watch alongside the medicines.
  • English and Tamil from the first release.

Where we are

MyLuca is a product in development by its own technical team. A closed beta for a small group of families opens in April 2027, starting in India, then for Indian families who look after parents from abroad.
